KAPB Survey: A KAPB survey provides data on knowledge, attitudes, practices and behaviors. KHBC conducts comprehensive KAPB surveys on HIV/AIDS and other health issues to gauge:

• General information that inform health programming (gender, age, education, position in the company, etc.).
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, modes of transmission, prevention and treatment.
• Attitudes towards persons living with HIV and HIV testing(stigma and discrimination)
• Attitudes toward the company’s management with regard to health programming
• Sexual practices and risky behaviors
• Behavior in social life and partnerships.

KHBC encourages our member companies and other stakeholders to undertake KAPB surveys which help in:

• Identifying specific risk groups and needs, enabling the development of a workplace programme that addresses specific needs of the organization

• Providing baseline information important for monitoring and implementation of workplace programme and evaluation of interventions

• Providing Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, other STI`s, modes of transmission, prevention and treatment

• Gauging attitudes towards company management in relation to HIV/AIDS programming

• Providing first hand information on Sexual practices

• Gauging behavior in social life and partnership
